I met some great people this morning at @KIA of Union City! Special shout to the little people, Junior and Kylie & Eli! While I was with Junior helping him play the game at the @Praise1025 table, out of the blue he turned to me and quietly said, "My uncle died." I leaned over and repeated it to make sure I heard him correctly. (Miracle: I didn't fall out crying.) 😩 I hugged him and talked to him a little while then we kept playing and having fun. All the kids wrote me notes… Junior's note says "Love". He gave me a hug before he left to return to his family. A few minutes later when we were almost done packing up the station table, I looked up and Junior was running towards me with his arms open. I squeezed him tighter this time and told him that I'm praying for him and I love him. Listen, I'm not perfect but I try to operate in love.
